Interesting... Can you try changing the template to the default one and test again?

I never changed the template. I don't even know how to reset the template to the default.... but I will try.

ok I copied the originals over the top of the existing ones, and I still have the same issue. No images loading.

I just changed the site template to the two that came with Joomla 1.0 and still have the same error.
